Las Vegas Shooting

On the 1st of October 2017, Stephen Paddock, a 64 year old Nevada resident opened fire on a crowd of country music fans at a Jason Aldean concert, killing over 50 people and leaving over 500 people injured. This is the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S history, president Trump referred to it as “an act of pure evil”.

The FBI claims the shooter “has no connection with any international terrorist group”, though ISIS claims the shooter was acting on their behalf. The FBI and other U.S officials have no link between the shooter and ISIS. The shooter shot himself in his hotel room before a SWAT team could get to him. The officers found 16 rifles and a hand gun in his hotel room. In his house they found 18 more firearms, explosives and several rounds of ammunition.

The shooter’s brother claimed the shooter was a multimillionaire who made a fortune investing in real estate. Stephen was an accountant for most of his life, he had a string of relationships with no children, he was a “an army of one”. His family claims he showed no signs of being capable of such a thing. His brother, Eric Paddock said that “something incredibly wrong” happened to Stephen.
